In recent years, society has developed a greater awareness and concern regarding the disposal of various toxic wastes and their negative effects on the air we breathe, the water we drink and the land which produces our food.
Oil products have inherent products of combustion, much like smoke and tar from cigarettes, but with far more concentrated carcinogenic levels, that adversely affect our air, water, and land. Government regulations, enforced primarily by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), have set forth specific guidelines for the disposal of these toxic wastes, including oil, in order to protect our natural resources.
Today, regulations on oil waste disposal and pollution, and oil dependency is costing corporations and consumers billions of dollars each year. Moreover, oil waste is dramatically impacting the environment. The PetroSavers® Engine Oil Refiner System addresses these problems “head on”, by significantly reducing the amount of oil used to lubricate engines, resulting in less waste oil needing disposal and in reducing the need for crude oil. Some governments are considering mandating the use of this type refiner on certain equipment, primarily due to these ecological benefits.
With respect to the greenhouse effect, it has been determined by world governments that exhaust emissions from vehicles and other combustible applications are responsible for over 25% of the degradation of the earth's ozone layer. Because the PetroSavers® Engine Oil Refiner System causes less friction between engine parts, the engine's efficiency is maximized, which then reduces the amount of exhaust emissions being released from each engine. This fact is documented in that customers experience decreases in fuel consumption from one to two miles per gallon.
We also note that the reduction in emmissions from the PetroSavers® Engine Oil Refiner System is a quantifiably measured amount which may be used as carbon credits.
